Safe, High-performance Fittings
The Tyco® CPVC adapters are produced from BlazeMaster® CPVC compound. It is a specially developed thermoplastic compound composed of post-chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) resin and state-of-the-art additives. CPVC fittings are easier to install than traditional steel options and provide superior heat resistance and strength.
CPVC has an LOI (limited oxygen index) that is better than wood, PVC, PB, or other common building materials. It will not support combustion; therefore, it cannot be a source of a fire or cause of a fire to spread. Manufactured with Lubrizol BlazeMaster® CPVC compound in the U.S.A.
